PROGRAM

The Mimosa and the French Riviera

The mimosa, originally from Australia, appeared on the slopes of the Croix des Gardes in Cannes at the end of the 19th century, probably introduced by one of the great winter hosts of the French Riviera. The Horticulture and Acclimatization Society contributed to its promotion.

From then on, mimosa growers will multiply in the region, in Mandelieu, Pégomas, Tanneron or even La Roquette.

Today, this road has become a tourist route, recommended from January to March, and is typically the symbol of a winter Côte d’Azur that offers a mild climate, a holiday itinerant between azure blue and solar yellow …

Meandering between the coastline and the forest massifs, you will discover the richness of the French Riviera, its authenticity, its unique land, its festive atmosphere and its amazing heritage through the fragrant scents of mimosa.

Included :
  • A lunch for 2 persons at the restaurant located at the foot of the Napoule Castle;
    The excursion on the road of the mimosa on board a mythical car: a 2CV convertible.
