Relive the penultimate stage of the Tour de France 2024

PROGRAM

Day 1
Col de Braus

Depart Nice early in the morning to start your bike tour in Touët de l’Escarène, a charming medieval village on the road to the Col de Braus in the Menton hinterland.

You’ll climb to the Col de Braus, perched at an altitude of 1,002 m.

You’ll then descend to Sospel, where you’ll enjoy lunch in this historic town in the heart of the verdant Bévéra valley, at the southern gateway to the Mercantour National Park.

Your afternoon is free to relax and visit the charming surrounding villages.

Overnight at your accommodation in the Sospel region.

Day 2
Col de Turini

For this new stage, you’ll leave Sospel early in the morning via Moulinet to cycle up the Col de Turini.

The Col is situated at an altitude of 1604 m in the hinterland of Nice. It is famous in the world of rallying, as it is often used by the Monte Carlo Rally.

Lunch in Bollène-Vésubie, an ancient mountain village perched on a promontory overlooking the La Vésubie valley, at the entrance to the Turini forest, the Vallée des Merveilles and the Mercantour national park.

End of the day at leisure. Overnight at your accommodation in the Bollène-Vésubie region.

Day 3
Col de la Colmiane

You’ll set off early from Bollène-Vésubie for Col de Colmiane.

You’ll pass through Roquebillière, Saint-Martin-Vésubie and Valdeblore. These towns are located in the Mercantour National Park, a mountainous region known for its natural beauty, hiking trails and outdoor activities.

On your descent from Col de la Colmiane, you’ll stop for lunch in the town of Saint-Sauveur-Sur-Tinée.

You’ll have the afternoon to do as you please and explore the valley at your own pace.

Overnight at your accommodation in the Saint-Sauveur-Sur-Tinée area.

Day 4
Col de la Couillole

For your final day, we suggest you set off early in the morning from Saint-Sauveur-Sur-Tinée, passing through the village of Beuil on your way to the Col de la Couillole.

Your bike tour will end in Valberg, where an end-of-morning drink and gift-giving ceremony awaits you.

After lunch, your driver will take you back to Nice.
