Upon your arrival in the capital, you will explore and smell the first perfumes coming from the stalls in the streets. Then, you will discover the north of Thailand in all its splendor, to finally fly to the island of Phuket.

Days 1 & 2
ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK

 

Arrive at Bangkok airport then private transfer to your 3* hotel, located in the heart of the city.

Enjoy your day exploring Chinatown, where each street has its own specialty. Stroll freely between the signs and the life of the neighborhood. Then take the skytrain and tour the dazzling shopping malls. You can also visit the city’s temples or stroll through Lumpini Park. Afterwards, have a drink on a rooftop to contemplate the city by night before going out to a chic club or opt for a massage before having a quiet dinner on the terrace and taking a walk along the illuminated river.

 

Days 3 & 4
BANGKOK

 

Accompanied by your guide, visit the most popular markets and several famous restaurants to taste the local specialties. This excursion will be an opportunity to appreciate the thousand and one flavors of Thai cuisine.

The next day, you will be able to discover the secret of the most emblematic recipes of Thai cuisine during a cooking class at a prestigious institute. The reputation of Thai food is well established, it is recognized as one of the most inventive cuisines in the world and knows how to play with a multitude of flavors, each more exotic than the last (from curry to lemongrass, from coriander to coconut, etc.). After selecting your ingredients in the morning in a local market in Bangkok, an experienced chef will guide you step by step in the preparation of emblematic dishes.

 

Day 5
ARRIVAL IN CHANG MAI

 

Private transfer to the airport and flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, private transfer to your 4* hotel ideally located for sightseeing.

 

Days 6 to 8
CHIANG MAI

 

Adopt the preferred means of transportation of the Thai people to discover the charm of Chiang Mai from another angle. Go to
Visit Buddhist temples, open-air markets and an impressive lake on a half-day bike tour that will allow you to visit the city’s most famous attractions and also to get off the beaten track by discovering the rural areas around the city. By doing so, you will avoid the tourist crowds and discover the Thai culture in depth. The smiles and friendliness of the people of Chiang Mai will leave you with lasting memories.

On the banks of the Ping River, you’ll enjoy delicious Thai food in the open air before hopping on a tuk-tuk to go to one of Chiang Mai’s most colorful markets. Once in this beautiful maze of activity, you’ll discover a variety of stalls, from local handicrafts to traditional fabrics to funny imitations. Perfect for practicing your negotiation skills and making a lot of visual and material souvenirs!

You can visit the Chiang Mai zoo, the “Tiger Kingdom” and wake up the tiger in you. Otherwise, you can choose to visit the 300 steps temple or go see elephants. The markets, day and night, are full of little gems to discover quietly. They are also an opportunity to dive into the local daily life. You will be able to crown your freedom of the day with a massage, a cocktail in a bar or a nightclub.

 

Day 9
ARRIVAL IN PHUKET

 

Private transfer to the airport and flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, private transfer to your 5* beachfront hotel with a romantic atmosphere.

 

Day 10
KOH YAO NOI

 

Take part in a solidarity activity in an idyllic setting: the splendid island of Koh Yao Noi!

Take advantage of your vacation to support the local community, discover the real life of this small Thai island, and get enriched by meeting the islanders. In the morning, take an early boat ride from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi Island, which was heavily affected by the 2004 tsunami.

You will spend the day with the locals, learning about their way of life, traditions, resilience, and how they managed to recover from the disaster and rebuild their island. You will participate in activities such as making coconut shell souvenirs, which helps the community to become more self-sufficient. Enjoy a lunch prepared by a local family and explore the surrounding villages before returning to Phuket in the late afternoon.

 

Day 11
KOH PHI PHI

 

Take a day to hike between viewpoints, jungle and mangrove. It could end with a sunset swim. Otherwise, enjoy good food in one of the many restaurants around the port of Tonsai.

Between 2 diving/snorkeling trips, take a boat trip, discover caves and lagoons, meet monkeys, hang out in the sand or opt for a kayak/paddle trip…

Stop by the Tsunami Memorial Garden and/or end the day with a festive musical atmosphere.

 

Day 12
PHUKET

 

Stroll through trendy cafes, Sino-Portuguese buildings and art galleries.
For those who like to relax, take advantage of the palm-fringed beaches and the sea riddled with islands, without hesitating to move a little away from your hotel.

On the nature side, go see the monkeys in the jungle of Khao Sok, between limestone formations and waterfalls.
You can also opt for a kayak tour in the bay of Ao Phang Nga in the middle of the cliff islands.

Then do some shopping at the night market of Phuket City and enjoy a dinner on Khao Rang Hill. Night owls, end the night in one of the many bars of Patong, in a cabaret or during a boxing match.

 

Day 13
BACK TO FRANCE

 

The end of your stay between escape and authenticity approaches. It is already time to go back.

Take advantage of a private transfer to the airport before boarding the plane that will take you back to France.
